The resulting music is a surrealistic collage, Faux Latin grooves mixed with noise improvisations and chamber music miniatures, a multicultural melting pot between Paris, New York and Berlin.<\/p>\n<p>The band moves effortlessly between the elegance of a string trio, the groove of a funk ensemble, and the freedom of open improvisation\u2014an unconventional crossover.<\/p>\n<p>This project was created as part of the Berlin concert series &#8220;Zugabe!!! Django Reinhardt and French Jazz&#8221;, supported by the Berlin Senate. After the first successful performance, the three musicians were so enthusiastic about the possibilities of the instrumentation and the repertoire that they decided to make it a &#8220;working band&#8221;.
